The size is approximately 1 7/8" x 6".  The hook comes out 2 1/4" from the wall. The hook has a generous opening and can accomodate bulky items such as jackets and extra large bath towels. The design is three-dimensional on the front and flat on the back for a flush mount. There are holes provided for mounting.  No hardware (screws) included. You can use any standard screw found easily at your local store. These are finished in a rustic brown powder coat finish which inhibits rust. If you prefer a different color, you can easily paint these to the color of your choice.  Spray paints work great and are easy to work with.
