French Art Nouveau Porcelain Wooden~antique Kitchen Dish Towel

FRENCH ART NOUVEAU PORCELAIN WOODEN~ANTIQUE KITCHEN DISH TOWEL WALL HANGING RACK Here is a wooden vintage French kitchen dish towel rack with four raised art nouveau patterned white porcelain plaques which are labled in black:   “ ESSUIE-MAINS,  PORCELAINE; VERRES,  COUVERTS”,  translates to “HAND DRYINE, PORCELAIN,  GLASSES, TABLEWARE SETTINGS".  In a proper French kitchen of long ago, one must have separate kitchen towels for different items.  NEVER dry your hands with the same torchon (dishtowel) that is used for the glasses!  Underneath are 4 smal brass hooks and at top, 2 metal triangular hooks for hanging.  This is an exceptionally pretty piece. Measures 15 3/4 " long; 3 3/4” wide.  Makes a great key holder. I also have a nice selection of vintage red and white French dishtowels. Do let me know if you need more photos or have any questions .
