This towel is really well made - the ends are blind stitched, and the sides are selvage. It appears hand made - there are no labels, and the stitching is very well done. I believe it to be made from feedsack, but I am not certain enough to list it in the feedsack category. It is a beautiful "awning" stripe - I had a house, that was built in the 1940's, that had this very design for awnings. I believe this design for awnings is still being made today! The colors are wonderful, with the 1940's jadeite green, a wonderful 1940's blue, and yellow, with a few tiny red stripes for accent. The towel is USED, but in nice condition. There are some stains, but they are faint and not very big. I tried to photograph the worst but I don't believe they show up very well. It is a nice large size, at 32" long, and would make a great table runner or a towel, as it was originally intended.
